Success Story: Modernization of Public Lighting in Cajazeiras/PB with SX Lighting

The city of Cajazeiras, in the state of Paraíba, has taken a major step towards modernizing its urban infrastructure by renewing its public lighting system. With cultural and historical significance in the region, the city sought an efficient, sustainable, and modern solution to meet the demand for high-quality lighting.

Aiming to increase urban safety and reduce energy costs, the Cajazeiras city hall is replacing the old lighting system, which could no longer provide the necessary visibility and lighting efficiency for public roads, compromising public safety and raising maintenance and operational expenses.

SX Lighting, in partnership with Gestor Consultoria, Aneel, and Energisa, participated in the implementation of the new LED public lighting system. LED luminaires SX-LPP Luminária Plus were installed, offering high energy efficiency of up to 192 lm/W, quality lighting, and durability, meeting safety and visual comfort requirements. With Inmetro certification, these luminaires are highly resistant, ensuring a long-term solution.

The modernization of lighting in Cajazeiras resulted in significant energy savings, along with more uniform and powerful lighting, directly contributing to public safety. The new LED luminaires also drastically reduced maintenance costs due to their long lifespan.
