Itanhaém initiates the largest lighting program in its history, and the luminaires are SX Lighting.
The city of Itanhaém (SP) has begun the “largest lighting program in the city’s history,” and we, at SX Lighting, could not stay out of this milestone in the city’s history. The public Evolution and Plus luminaires are now the highlights on the streets of Itanhaém, which will have 100% of its lighting replaced by LED.
This update to the city’s public lighting system represents not only a technological upgrade but also a commitment to the quality of life and safety of citizens, as well as raising standards for energy efficiency, modernity, and sustainability.
The major strengths of SX Lighting luminaires are durability and luminous efficacy, which can exceed 190 lm/W depending on the model. This provides much brighter lighting with considerable energy savings.
The individual lenses per LED and the beam angle openings in selected luminaires are also attributes that improve light uniformity, reducing dark spots between one pole and another. This durability and resistance guarantee an intelligent investment with benefits to be reaped for a long period in Itanhaém.
Once again, SX Lighting is proud to be part of this transformative journey in such an important region in Brazil’s history. Itanhaém was founded in 1532 and is, therefore, the second oldest city in the country.
